Why men and women can't be friends
This seems legit*
Finally, a scientific, intellectual, and serious study that proves what we have all been suspecting for so long: ALL MY MALE FRIENDS WANT TO SLEEP WITH ME. Good, now thats out in the open, how about we all let go of our foolish beliefs of friendship and intellectual realationships and have a big ol' orgie!
*Irony

A difference in the shades, and Chocolate cookies
I just realized that I accidentally deleted some poems when I changed my blog. Fail. What the hell is up with me somehow managing to always lose anything good that I write. Derrrrrrrrrrrr.
Bright Eyes day today. The sun is shining. I'm eating a cookie for breakfast. Because thats the sort of thing that you get to do when you are an adult. I could also drink beer for breakfast, but I feel that that would be crossing a line. It's ok on tour but almost not even then, honestly.
I love breakfast. I love everything about it. Im always starving in the mornings and I am so looking forward to eating when I wake up. I love making breakfast and I love eating it. It is probably my favourite meal of the day, which is ironic because I used to hate breakfast and never eat it. Then I took an arrow to the knee...
Also I made the best cookies. I call them, Chocolate-DEATH-cookies, because they are so chocolatey and yummy! The recipe comes from The Post Punk Kitchen. I'm gonna post the recipe another time because right now I have to go chase my cat who is going berserk in my room, as his usual morning routine.

Healthy Ice-cream sandwiches
Today I've really been craving chocolate chip cookies. I didn't bake anything in ages (if you don't count raw strawberry cheesecake, which is not really baking) and I've reduced my intake of sugar drastically, so first I was trying to find a raw recipe for cookies. But after a while I stumbled upon these little lovelies which seemed like a fair compromise since they are a sugar-free and healthy version of what I'm used to making.

Vegan Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
adapted from food doodles
Ingredients
3 large, very ripe bananas
1/2 C natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
3 Tablespoons coconut oil, liquified (or sub canola)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons maple syrup (or honey for non-vegan)
1-1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
Method | Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mash the bananas in a large bowl, then add peanut butter, baking powder, oil, maple syrup, salt and vanilla. Add oats and flour and mix well. If the mixture seems too wet, add more flour. Then add chocolate chips and stir until well combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicon mat and drop cookies by spoonfuls 1 inch apart. They won’t spread much so don’t worry about getting them too close together. And if you want them a bit flatter like traditional cookies, flatten them down with the back of a spoon.
Bake for 15 minutes or slightly more, until the cookies are slightly golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and place on a cooling rack to cool completely – at least one hour. Then store in an airtight container to retain freshness.
